WORKSHOPS

We run residential courses for doctors, nurses and others away from the hospital environment. The venues are normally hotels and the workshops are run over two days. Our current series of workshops are about explaining the results of genomic testing (TARGET) and communicating genetic testing and results to patients and family members (TRUSTING). Normally these residential workshops last 8 hrs split over 2 half days and attract 9 CPD points.

Following the results of the LIMBER study we developed a workshop for healthcare professionals on communicating with patients with advanced breast cancer. The first round of these workhsops ran from May to July 2025 and the results have been written up for publication. By popular demand we will be running a futher course later this year. We ran a series of our TARGET workshops in 2025, training HCPs communication skills to help when discussing Gene Expression Profiling (GEP) Tests in breast cancer.
