Biography
Carolyn joined Sussex Health Outcomes, Research & Education in Cancer (previously the Psychosocial Oncology Group) in 2002 where she develops the databases for the Unit's projects, manages the quality and security of the data, and compiles the Standard Operating Procedures to ensure good practice in study data management.
She originally trained as a professional chemist, with 12 years experience in R&D and analytical chemistry. Subsequently she gained 10 years data management experience working in the pharmaceutical industry and in the NHS.
